Geometry Dish
Yesterday I had a lovely stir fry from local deli counter. I chose it because the vegetables were exactly what I bought at our local farmer's market this weekend. It didn't have a label, but I thought of it as “Linear Stir Fry” as it was vibrantly colored with green, yellow, and red peppers. Strips of yellow summer squash and zucchini also contributed to the linear look of the dish. A closer look led me to revise my name to “Shape Stir Fry”. Watercress discs, rectangles of bamboo shoots, and celery crescents gave a nice crunch factor to the softer linear vegetables. A slice of star fruit and a heart shaped cookie for dessert would have made for a fairly complete geometry lesson, as well as a well-balanced meal for anyone.

Breakfast & Lunch
On today's menu were prepared foods.
Love Grown Foods: Sweet Cranberry Pecan Oat Clusters: enjoyed it for breakfast today. ate it warm: Simply poured milk over it, and microwaved for about a minute. Absolutely delicious!!
Cedar Lane Foods: tried and liked the Lentil Vegetable Soup and Samosa Wrap. I've also enjoyed the Minestrone Soup and Mediterranean Wrap.
